Welcome to the very first issue of our community newsletter! Each month, we'll open our doors a little wider and
share what's growing at Building Legacies Through Literacy — the students we serve, the community we build with,
and the plans taking root for the future.
This issue is a big one. We're gearing up for Shady Oaks Community Weekend, recapping our Annual Board Meeting,
sharing where things stand with our scholarship application, introducing you to the student whose story sparked this
